Understanding the expecations of probation is the first step to success. The Medina County Adult Probation Department provides information to friends and family regarding resources for probationers. A better understanding of the court's orders and the expectactions of probation will increase compliance and assist with the successful completion of probation.

C.O.P.E. GOALS
  • Educate family and friends on what is expected while someone they know is on probation
  • Provide information and resources for family and friends regarding probation, addiction, and mental health services, employment, education and vocational programming
  • Reduce crime and strenghten community support by helping the probationer become a productive member of the community

As a friend or family member of an offender, the transition to probation can be confusing.
