Intensive Supervision Unit (ISP)

ISP Felony Caseload:
(High or Very High Risk Offenders Only)

The Intensive Supervised Probation (ISP) Unit has the same functions as Supervising by Risk Levels:  A Balanced Approach (listed below) but sees only offenders who were deemed a high or very high risk by the ORAS (Ohio Risk Assessment System).  There is a greater intensity to the supervision of offenders in this unit as there are many more office and field visits made,  drug tests are administered more frequently,  and the court may impose additional sanctions such as halfway house commitment, confinement in the Community Based Correctional Facility (CBCF), which is a lock-down facility,  or jail incarceration in addition to probation.
